Vikki born in Seattle, but lived in Snoqualmie, Washington as a child and moved to Arizona. She moved to Texas in the 1970s and never looked back. In Texas, she found her forever family. She loved being a wife, mother, dog mama, daughter-in-law, sister, aunt, and friend. Although not a teacher by trade, she was a great teacher to her children, grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. She enjoyed taking her children, grandchildren, and nieces and nephews on new adventures like camping, fishing, swimming, to look at deer and other wildlife, and many other outdoor adventures.
Vikki was preceded in death by her parents, Tevis Scheuchzer and Mary Jo Clark, and brothers, Tom Scheuchzer and Chuck Scheuchzer.
She is survived by her spouse, Patricio Barela of Fort Worth, Texas; daughter, Patricia Robles and son-in-law, Raul; son, Anthony Barela and daughter-in-law, Crystal; son, Michael Barela and daughter-in-law, Brandy; grandchildren, Nadia, Myranda, Amaya, Avangelina, Anthony Jr., Jessica, Luis, Jocelyn, Zaden, and Illianna; mother-in-law, Dominicia V. Barela; sister, Traci Shawler; sister-in-law, Corrina Urias Renteria and husband, Carlos; five brothers-in-law, Merced Barela and wife, Lydia, Manuel Barela and wife, Chris, Ernest Barela, Alfredo Barela and wife, Vera, and Rafael Barela and wife, Lashelle; 22 nieces and nephews, and her most cherished babies, her dogs, Shasta, Rocky, Santino, Woogie, and Moji.
