Vernon Scottie Holloway Jr.

On Saturday, November 6, 2021, Vernon “Scottie” Holloway, loving son, brother, nephew, grandson, and friend passed away at the age of 19.

Born in 2002, Scottie was the 5th generation of first born sons named Vernon. He was a lover of all animals and nature. He caught his first fish at 2 years old and enjoyed fishing trips with his dad throughout his life. He played many sports as a child and loved to ride his skateboard. He loved his family deeply and made sure they knew it. Music was a constant in his life. Scottie was adventurous and always willing to try something new. He was known for his wonderful sense of humor, big blue eyes, and compassion for those he held dear.

Scottie is survived by his father, Vernon Holloway; his mother, Sarah O’Brien; his step-mother, Melissa Holloway; his brother, Aidan Holloway; his sister, Bella Chavez; his grandparents, Teddy Holloway, Kathy Holloway, and Jimmy O’Brien; his aunts, Fleeta Whitworth, Rachel Bales, and Nikki O'Brien; his uncles, Joseph O’Brien, James O’Brien, and Chet Whitworth; his cousins, Amber Whitworth, Christopher Whitworth, Karys Williams, Connor O’Brien, and Jack O’Brien; and many extended family members.
