Toby Lee Loftin, 46 of Mansfield, Texas, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, February 25, 2024.
Toby was born in Fort Worth, Texas on October 28, 1977.
He was a beloved son, brother, nephew, uncle, cousin and friend who will be dearly missed.
Toby was known for his good heart and humor. At a young age, he fell in love with the Western culture and decided to try his hand at bull riding. He went on to ride in numerous rodeos including the Kowbell Rodeo in his hometown and was also a part of the Mansfield High School Rodeo Team where he earned a college scholarship. He was a graduate of Mansfield High School. He continued his love of the Western culture by becoming a ranch hand and working on ranches in various locations including Cheyenne, WY.
Toby was proceeded in death by his paternal grandparents, Jimmy and Margaret Loftin and his maternal grandparents, Bill and Inez Simmons.
Toby is survived by his mother, Kathe Bennett of Burleson, TX, his father, Randy Loftin of Kennedale, Tx, his brother, Daryl Mayse and wife Trisha of Grandview, TX, his sister, P.J. Moreno of Corsicana, TX, his niece, Kassie Mayse of Dunlap, TN, nephew, Gregorio Moreno of Jewett, TX and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
A memorial service will be planned at a later date.
