Teresa Joel

Teresa Lynette Joel, also known to her grandsons as Rera, was born on December 11, 1961, in Decatur, TX. She passed away peacefully on May 22, 2025, in Fort Worth, TX.

She was a fantastic mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Don Joel; grandparents, Clifton and Edith Dove; her father, James Robert Myers (Bob); stepfather, Djuan (Joe) Doty; sister, Kelly Peacock; and aunt, Linda Bollen.

She is survived by her Mother, Jeanette Dove; sister, Kathy Joel; son, Kevin and his wife Carrie Joel; and her daughter, Tessa Joel. She has 4 grandsons, Devin Joel and his fiancé, Rylee; Tucker Formby and his girlfriend, Leaah, Landen Joel and his girlfriend, Maddie, Logan Joel and his girlfriend, Jess. She also has several cousins. She will be missed dearly. Her last wishes were to be cremated.
