Obituary
Teresa Jo Blackburn died peacefully in her sleep after a long battle with brain cancer on June 19, 2023 in Fort Worth, TX.
Teresa was born June 28, 1955 in Fort Worth, Texas to the parents Richard and Nora Blackburn. Teresa graduated from Dunbar High School in 1973. Upon graduation, she attended TCJC. She began working at General Motors. In 1978, she gave birth to her first child Bryan, and her second child Devin in 1995. She was loved by many and helped members of her Stop Six Community.
Teresa is survived by her brother, Timothy Blackburn of Fort Worth, TX; two sons Bryan and Devin Blackburn both of Forth Worth, TX; many relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you love on your loved ones as much as you can. Life is short and we only get one. Don’t live and regret not spending time with or talking to someone you love when it’s too late.
