Obituary
Tammy Lynn Simmons, 60, of Fort Worth, Texas passed away July 27, 2022. She was born June 4, 1962 in Fresno, California to Udel and Tammy Simmons.
Tammy moved to Ferndale, Michigan where she spent most of her youth. She then moved on to Missouri, Arkansas, and Texas. She went to nursing school, but would later become a housewife due to earlier than expected disability. Tammy was always giving people a hard time, joking and laughing. She was always willing to help and opened her doors to anyone in need. She was set in her ways, but she was loved and respected for it. Tammy will be remembered and missed by many. She loved her dog, Little Bit.
She is preceded in death by her father, Udel Simmons; stepfather, Dewayne Hufford; foster son, Shawn Wadley; sister, Sherry Mitchel; brothers, David Simmons and Ronnie Simmons.
Tammy is survived by her daughter, Stephanie Thurman; foster son, Dylan Offutt; mother, Betty Hufford; brother, Joey Sosa; nephews, Garrett Sosa, Jason Mitchel, Michael Simmons, and Matthew Simmons; nieces, Abby Mitchel, and Alicia Simmons; and many more family and friends.
