Steven James Keipert

On Tuesday, January 12, 2021, Steven James Keipert went to be with our Heavenly Father after a brave and well-fought battle with brain cancer (Glioblastoma Multiform or GBM) in his home in Arlington, TX surrounded by family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at St. John Lutheran Church in Mansfield, TX. Celebration of Life services will follow visitation starting at 6:00 pm.

Steve was born on May 28, 1979, in Arlington, TX to Jim and Karen Keipert. He received his Associates degree in Business Administration from Tarrant County College and graduated class of 1997 from Martin High School in Arlington, TX. On June 5, 2004, he married Crystal, his best friend. They have two children Katelyn and Coleman who were the most important parts of his life.

Steve was a devoted husband, father, and son who enjoyed his family and friends. Steve loved Jesus and drew his strength and positive outlook from him.  Steve never met a stranger, was always willing to lend a helping hand, and was a friend to all.  He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.

Steve is survived by his parents, Jim and Karen Keipert; his loving wife, Crystal Keipert (née Olson); and his children, Katelyn Lenore and Coleman Steven Keipert; his grandmothers, Josephine Hudecek and Geraldine Keipert; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his grandfathers; Joseph Hudecek and William Keipert.
