Steven J. Hix passed away, on April 5, 2025 at Renaissance Park Multi-Care Center in Fort Worth, TX. He was born on February 02, 1958 in Fort Worth, TX.

He was born is 1958 to William Jarvis & Ida Faye Hix in Fort Worth, TX. He graduated from Green B. Trimble Technical High School, where he met life-long friends and brothers, Richard Sandlin and Paul Garcia. While in high school he further pursued mechanics. This became a large portion of his career life, along with driving a wrecker for various companies. He was married once in which he had a son, Steven Jarvis Hix whom was born in 1992, to which he was extremely excited about being a father. His hobbies included drawing cars, building model cars, and repairing various mechanical problems.

Steven is survived by his son, Steven Jarvis Hix of Joshua, TX; sister, Jerry Faye Kline of Kennedale, TX; Brother Joe Wayne Hix SR. of Mansfield, TX; multiple nephews and nieces, including Joe Wayne JR. who helped keep his uncle grounded during the later years of his life.
