On September 13, 2020 Sharon Lynn Russell-Walker passed away at age 66 of congestive heart failure. Sharon was the oldest of 5 children, born to Vernon James Russell and Carol Jeanne Dwight on March 5, 1954. She is survived by her siblings, Karen Cline, Ginger Larson, and Roger Russell; her three children, Robert Walker, Jason Walker, and Shonna Walker; as well as her two grandchildren, Kayla Walker, and Augustus Walker.
Sharon was a talented artist and blessed so many with her work. She also honed the craft of paper snowflake cutting that decorated many different shops in Forest Hill, her children's schools, and her home during the Christmas seasons. In later years she would sell these crafts online. Sharon will always be the Queen of the Snowflakes to those who knew and loved her.
However, Sharon's main goal in life was to be a Mother, and what a wonderful Mom she was. Within the last day of her life, her priority was still her children. She began life young, getting married at the tender age of 15 to Jimmy Dwight Walker, and began her family shortly thereafter. Being a Mother was all the blessing she asked for and with that, she had all the treasure in the world. Our love for her is beyond words and she is missed beyond measure.
Sharon's services will be private for immediate family members only, as she will be planted in her home's flower bed, which she loved dearly. For the love of gardening is a seed once sown that never dies as she is planted her memory and love will always live on.
