Samuel Claunch Obituary

Samuel Benjamin Claunch, 47, went home to be with the Lord on May 8, 2021.

Sam was a brick mason all of his working career and enjoyed being outdoors. His hobbies included hunting for arrow heads and playing darts with friends on the dartboard he made himself. Sam was also a talented artist. He liked to draw profile pictures which showed his exquiste detail and intricate style of work. Upon completion, rarely could anyone discern the original from Sam's rendition.

Sam was preceded in death by his parents, William Perry and Rochelle Fern (Reynolds) Claunch; sisters, Kimberly Carr and late husband, Gerson, twins, Debra Lynn and Mary Ann Claunch; and brother, Daniel Claunch.

Sam is survived by daughter, Mary Rochelle Claunch of Glen Rose; sisters, Susan Claunch, and husband, Herschel of Santo, Laurie Wallace and husband, Kevin of Joshua, Teresa Claunch of Weatherford, Becky Hutchison of Glen Rose and sister, Carolyn Campbell and late husband, David of Spencer Tennessee.

There will be a memorial service held in July.
