Rosie Lee "Auntie" Wright passed away on December 18, 2022 in Fort Worth, Texas.
Born to the union of Otis and Clemmie Haywood Pierce in Palestine, Texas on November 19, 1929.
In 1945, at the age of sixteen, Rosie Lee's family moved to Fort Worth, Texas. She was the wife, of 29 years, to Mack Wright before his passing in 1978. Rosie Lee's Christian life began in the fellowship at the Believers of the Strangers Rest Baptist Church, under the pastorage of the late Reverend R.W. West. Rosie Lee worked as a housekeeper for a private residential home. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to many that loved her and will miss her dearly.
Left to cherish her memory are, sons, Robert Lee Pierce and wife, Rose of Fort Worth and Ellis Ray Wright and wife, Doris of Florida; two sisters, Betty Nichols and Pearlie Nwaefulu; brother, Otis Pierce Jr; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
