Robert Dean Hobbs

Robert Dean Hobbs (Bob) died at home peacefully after a long battle with congestive heart
failure on May 9, 2025, in Azle, Texas.
Robert was born to Robert Basil Hobbs and Utha Heloise Partain Hobbs on June 21, 1944, in
Rosiclare, Illinois.

Robert grew up in Illinois as a youngster and his family moved to New Mexico in 1959. He
worked as a welder in various Uranium mines throughout the Southwest.
His love for motorcycles included building Trikes and Riding Harley Davidsons and listening to
Country Western Music.

Robert was survived by his significant other Cheryl McDonald of Azle Texas, his children
Richard D. Hobbs of Dove Creek Colorado; Sandra E. Riddell of Dove Creek Colorado; Robert
Shawn Hobbs of Cortez Colorado; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; Sister
Marsha and Phil Jiron of Cerro New Mexico; numerous nieces and nephews and extended family
and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Ronnie Hobbs, his grandson Timothy Hobbs,
Sisters Bonnie Tipton and Sharon Gallegos.

Bob will be missed. A Celebration of Life will be announced for a later time.
