Robby Joe Connel died from injuries sustained as a pedestrian in Denton, Texas on September 26, 2020.
Robby was born on January 30, 1970 in Fort Madison, IA and grew up mostly in Madill, OK. He graduated from Madill High School. He worked several jobs, but his favorite was law enforcement. Robby had a wonderful personality, and enjoyed making people laugh with his sarcastic humor. He was a loving person, and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Robby’s favorite pastime was reading the scriptures, and often told many of his love for the Lord. He enjoyed praying for people and connecting on Facebook. A gifted musician, Robby played guitars, ukuleles, drums, trumpets, and even the trombone in high school.
Services will be private for close friends and family.
Robby is preceded in death by his father, Billy Joe Connel Sr.; mother, Peggy Lee Connel; all Grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Roberts, and Mr. & Mrs. Connel.
Robby is survived by brother, B.J. Connel and wife, Charlotte of Madill, OK, brother, Claude Richard of Denison, TX; sister, Peggy Zadik and husband, Jason of Madill, OK; brother, Anthony Connel and wife, Virginia of Newcastle, OK, brother, Bill Connel and wife, Kelly of Rowlett, TX, and sister, Renee Connel of Mannsville, OK. He had many nieces and nephews. Robby will be missed by all.
