Nellie Hofmann Obituary

Nellie J. Hofmann, 66, the sweetest and most devoted wife and mother, pass away peacefully in her sleep October 8, 2021.

Nellie was born in 1955 and grew up in Carterville, Il. with her three brothers, Richard, Charles, Gene, and sister, Barbara. In 1977 she joined the US Air Force where she would dedicate 20 years to serving her country. She met her husband, Bryan Hofmann, and they were married in 1980. Nellie and Bryan would go on to have 3 children during their travels around the world as a Air Force family. After the Air Force, Nellie would devote the rest of her life to her husband, children and grand children. She loved reading Stephen King novels, and watching television murder mysteries.

Nellie is survived by her husband, Bryan Hofmann; son, William and his wife, LaDawn; son, David and daughter, Michelle; sister, Barbara; and 7 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.

She will be missed by all of the lives she touched.
