Nancy Helen Biondo

Nancy Helen Biondo, 84, departed this world on Wednesday, March 4, 2021. Born in Scranton, PA, Nancy had been a Texas resident for much of her adult life.

Preceded in death by her beloved parents, Nicholas and Helen Biondo. Nancy was survived by her two children, Kathy and Frank and her dear daughter-in-law, Gina. With 8 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren as her legacy, all of whom she took great pride in, she will be remembered for many generations to come. A strong work ethic and compassion for others allowed Nancy the joy of creating meaningful bonds, beyond her blood relatives. Her work family at the Waffle House in Bedford brought much joy and laughter in recent years. Nancy, better known as “Miss Nancy” or “Great-Ma,” had a deep respect for veterans and law enforcement alike. She loved animals, reading, knitting, and singing along to the “big band” music of her childhood.

Those blessed to know her will cherish memories of spirited conversation over great food. Nancy Helen Biondo was loved by many and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. May her memory comfort those whose lives she touched.
