Nancy Lee Beale

Ms. Beale, 73, passed away Saturday, June 4, 2022, peacefully in her home. She was surrounded by her loving family, following a hard-fought battle with renal failure, congestive heart failure, COPD, and diabetes.

Memorial Service for Ms. Nancy Lee Beale will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, June 12, 2022 at Fort Worth Funerals and Cremations. 

She was born June 14th, 1948 in Shreveport Louisiana to her parents, Sidney Franklin Baker Sr. and Margaret Ann Baker (Green). She was the younger sister to Sidney (Skip) Franklin Baker Jr. and Darla Green. She married Howard Smith Beale III in January of 1988, in Hobbs, New Mexico. Nancy graduated from Odessa High School, class of 1966. At age 39, she earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology and became a licensed chemical dependency counselor. For upwards of 10 years, she worked in rehabilitation counseling and women’s protective services. She was also a member of Three Times a Lady, while actively employed, prior to disability. Nancy touched many lives throughout her career. Nancy dedicated her life to her family and friends, as well as to those she knew professionally and personally.

Nancy was proceeded in death by her parents; her brother; her sister; Kathy Baker (her sister-in-law); and her late husband.

She is survived by her two daughters, Sarah Celeste (English) Sylvester, Rachel Luann Beale; her granddaughter, Sydni Lee English; and her great grandson, Smith Edmund English.

Nancy was a devoted mother, a caring daughter and sister, and a kind, loving friend. We will miss her tender, loving, and compassionate spirit. However, she will remain in our hearts and memories forever.  She was the glue that held us all together and, in her honor, we will do our best to emulate her for years to come.
