In Port Arthur, Texas on March 25, 1975, Norma Gayle Guidry and Richard Alton Cruse welcomed a beautiful, green eyed baby girl and named her Misti Dawn Cruse.
Misti already had a older sister, Lori Poljak to look up to. Misti’s mom later welcomed an additional little sister, Danessa Sanders.
Soon the small family settled in Phoenix, Az. Misti attended Iron Wood high school. After high school, she welcomed a baby boy, Calvin Zachary Prentice.
Misti spent her early twenties in Phoenix. Soon after, she moved back to Texas to be closer to her family. Misti welcomed a baby girl, Bailey Ann Sherrin and a son, Christian Sherrin. Misti was kind, funny, smart, a loyal friend, beautiful inside and out, spontaneous, and spunky. She was real about her struggles. Misti fought to get her mind, soul, and life clear. She struggled to feel good about herself and view herself as others did, with love.
Misti left us on January 09, 2022. She is now in the folds of Gods hands, listening to the angels sing. She can now see her beauty and feel the love from all who loved her. She will be missed and always loved.
Misti was cremated and her ashes returned back home to her mother and sisters.
