Michelle Overshaun Bogan

Michelle Overshaun Bogan, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to many, passed
away peacefully on Monday, April 28, 2025.
Born in Fort Worth, Texas, to Darnell Wright and Patricia Bogan, Michelle was a woman of
remarkable strength and resilience. After the passing of her eldest sister, she stepped up at a
young age to raise her nieces—a testament to her nurturing spirit and unwavering dedication to
family.

Michelle had a deep love for food and took great joy in cooking. She was an avid reader and a
devoted fan of both D.C. and Marvel movies, as well as animated shows. Her favorite television
series was Inuyashiki, which she loved for its powerful themes and storytelling.
Michelle will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by:

• Her mother: Patricia Bogan
• Her sons: Micheal Bogan and Marcus (Sha’leese) Langston
• Her brothers: Vondrick (Roshonda) Finley and Preston Dennis
• Her sister: Sonja (Marcus) Embry
• The nieces she lovingly raised: Beverly Brooks, Kreisha Smith, Jade Davis, Sir Davis,
• Tytiana Brooks, and Alia Brooks

Michelle now joins in eternal rest her father, Darnell Wright, and her sister, Tausha Bogan.
Her love, strength, and joyful spirit will live on in the hearts of her family and all who were
blessed to know her.
