Michael D. Gadoury, 37, died from complications due to a long-term illness on Friday evening, September 25, 2026.
A proud son, brother, and uncle, the love he felt for his family was unparalleled and will be cherished forever. He leaves his mother, Arcely D. Gadoury and her partner, Ellen of Fort Worth, TX; his brother, Robert D. Gadoury of Lincoln, NE; his sister, Jennifer R. Gadoury of Katy, TX; five nephews and nieces: Lillian, Natalie, Thomas, Charles, and Oliver James; Many aunts, uncles, and cousins from the DFW area, Massachusetts, and the Philippines.
He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Gadoury.
He was born on June 22, 1989, in Fort Worth, the youngest of 3 children of Donald Gadoury and Arcely Gadoury (Dayrit). He graduated from Brewer High School of White Settlement in 2007 after transferring from the Webster school district in Massachusetts, where he attended most of his primary school education. He attended Tarrant County College.
Michael was a connoisseur of collectibles, an avid backyard scientist, a movie afficionado, and a comedian. Michael’s near-eidetic memory helped him to consistently and accurately achieve excellence in his areas of special interests. He memorized algorithms to Rubick’s cubes solving patterns, taught himself chemistry from studying formulas and internet research, and could quote movies perfectly from films he saw years ago. He loved sharing his interests with others and was a mentor to many of his younger cousins, as well as his nieces and nephews.
Beyond these passions, his deepest commitment was always his family. He never asked for much but believed in giving all he could to those he cared about. Michael took his role in his family seriously and would do anything to see his family happy. A proud and supportive uncle, he dedicated many years to helping raise his nieces and nephews. A doting son and loving brother, he helped his family without question, often before being asked. He was not a man of affluence, but what he had he gave freely and without expectation. Michael wasn’t one to talk about himself, but he will live on in the stories of those whose lives he touched: everyone who knew him. He was loved dearly and his light will be sorely missed by this world.
