“To be absent of the body is to be present with God” 2 Corinthians 5:8.
Michael Anthony Crimaldi departed from this world surrounded by his loving family on February 7, 2024, transitioning into the eternal embrace of God.
Born on November 19, 1968, in the vibrant city of Chicago, Illinois, Mike was the youngest of five children born to Angela Ealy and Chuck Cazzola, and unmistakably cherished as the favorite.
His journey took him to Texas at the tender age of two, where he spent his formative years before settling in Arizona during the 9th grade. Mike shared his life's greatest blessings, his daughters Brooke Ashlee Sanchez and Paige Marie Crimaldi, with their mother, Kelly Crimaldi. Brooke and Paige were his pride and joy, illuminating his life with boundless love and laughter.
While raising his daughters, Mike worked diligently at Shamrock Farms, where he drove trucks and tended to the farm, embodying the spirit of hard work and dedication. His curiosity and passion led him to delve into the locksmith profession, a path that he pursued with fervor and determination, eventually carving out a fulfilling career. In 2008, Mike made his way back to Texas, finding solace in the company of his sister Mary, and brother-in-law Anthony. Shortly after, he welcomed his daughter Paige and her furry companion into his home, much to the surprise of his new roommates. Known for his spontaneous nature, Mike infused every moment with an element of surprise and delight.
Mike's magnetic personality drew people to him effortlessly, earning him a special place in the hearts of all who crossed his path. His laid-back demeanor was complemented by an irrepressible spirit, which occasionally led him into mischievous escapades, especially during his adventures as an avid motorcycle enthusiast. Together with his brothers, he traversed countless miles, forging enduring bonds, and unforgettable memories along the open road.
His legacy lives on through his children, Brooke and Nico Sanchez of Mesa, AZ, and Paige Crimaldi of Haltom City, TX, along with his cherished granddogs: Rocko, Arthur, and Berkeley. He is also survived by his siblings, Chuck DiMarco of Austin, TX, Mary and Anthony Busbee of Grapevine, TX, Cathy and Tom Imhoff of Arlington, TX, and Cristy and Mike Sea of Anton, TX, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Though his physical presence may be gone, the memory of Mike's vibrant spirit, unwavering love, and zest for life will forever echo in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him.
As we bid farewell to a beloved son, brother, father, and friend, let us take solace in the cherished moments we shared and the everlasting imprint he left on our souls. Rest in peace, dear Mike, your spirit will forever soar among us.
