Michael Keith Clayton

Michael Keith Clayton, 43, of Weatherford, Texas passed away June 11, 2024.

He was born in Weatherford, Texas on December 09, 1980, to Joe Clayton and Laurie Wallace.

Michael was a loving son, father, brother, and friend. He was so full of life and approached everything with his larger-than-life energy.  Mike’s favorite role was being a father to his daughters. Family was the most important thing to him, and he always put family first.  He was very hardworking and dedicated to his job at Ben E. Keith where he worked for 20+ years.  He had a treasured collection of model trains, and he was known for being able to fix anything.  If he didn’t know how to fix it, he would figure it out. Mike will be missed tremendously by everyone who was blessed to know him.

Michael is survived by his mother, Laurie Wallace and husband, Kevin; father, Joe Clayton and wife, Gayla; daughters, Tiffany Clayton and Hayley Clayton; step-daughter, Paige Snow; special friend, Jonalyn Fenderson; sister, Courtney Mimmick and husband, David; brothers, Christopher Clayton and wife, Chris, Kendal Wallace and wife, Holly; his best friend, who was as close as a brother, Vance Mercer, and wife, Meagan; numerous nieces and nephews; and many other family and friends.
