Melissa Webber, 51, passed away after a long battle with cancer on September 23, 2021 in her home.
Memorial service: Please join us in celebrating the life of Melissa on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at 3 p.m. at Fort Worth Funerals & Cremations Chapel, 8808 Camp Bowie W, Ste. 170, Fort Worth, 76116.
Melissa was born May 25, 1970 in Wellington, Texas, growing up in Snyder, Texas. She was not happy at home. She decided to move to Fort Worth at age 17, where she started her adult life. She worked, married, and had her first child, Annarita in 1996, and then divorced. Melissa made the best of being a single mother. It was at Annie's 5th birthday party where she met the love of her life and husband to be, Bruce Webber. The two married in 2004 and had two children, Andrew and Adrian, by 2008. Altogether, they were a family of five, with two children Bruce also had from a previous marriage. Melissa enjoyed cooking a new meal almost every week. She loved camping, hiking, swimming, and hanging out with friends. Her biggest ambition was to teach. After volunteering at the younger boy's school and being a great wife and homemaker, she landed the job of cafeteria monitor and mentor for a handful of the special needs children that gave her the most gratification of her career. Melissa touching the lives of future generations with her kindness and love was her "super power" as she fulfilled her life mission while on this earth. She was loved by all who came to know her.
She is survived by her husband, Bruce Webber; her children, Jordan, Tiffany, Annarita, Andrew, and Adrian; brother, Martin Palacios; grandchildren, Serinity, Grace, and Gracelynn; uncle; aunt; many step-brothers, step-sisters; half brothers and half sisters, recently discovered.
