Mary Nell Taylor was born April 20, 1940 in Weatherford, Texas. She was 82 years old when she passed away peacefully on December 28, 2022 at her daughter’s house in Fort Worth,
Texas.
Mary Nell is preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Taylor; parents, Milton and Audine Johnston; brother, Kenneth Johnston; sister, Pauline Johnston; son, Jimmy Don Cain; grandson,
Adam Don Gunter.
She is survived by daughters, Connie Cain, Cathi Gunter, and Debbie Wilmoth; brothers, Bobby Johnston and wife, Melba of Weatherford, and Monty Johnston and wife, Becky of
Weatherford; sisters, Nona Poynor of Colleyville, Marcie Lowrance and husband, J.B. of Pasadena, Maryland, and Evelyn Parker and husband, Tim of Weatherford; sister in law, Aline
Johnston; grandchildren, Carrie Daniels, Rachel Wilmoth, Randi Stockton, Gared Gunter, Britney McGinnis, and Cameron Gunter; great grandchildren, Cooper, Jax, Micayla, Emmalynn, Erabella,
Logan, Addisyn, Avery, and Aiden.
Mary Nell was a lifelong resident of Benbrook, Texas where she was involved in several community events. She devoted her life to her family. She was more than happy to be the
central figure in the lives of her children and grandchildren. Anyone who knows them, knows she was the star in their eyes and that is all that mattered to her.
