Marisa Arvizu

Marisa Arvizu, 30, of Fort Worth, Texas passed away on Wednesday, September 30, 2020. 

There will be a visitation at Fort Worth Funerals & Cremations on Friday, October 9, 2020 from 6pm - 8pm. Funeral Service will be held at 11am on Saturday, October 10, 2020 at Fort Worth Funerals & Cremations with an interment to follow at Mount Olivet.

"Rizza" as she was known by her friends, was born July 21, 1990 to Francisco Arvizu and Martha H. Almaraz. Her fondest childhood memories were the times she spent with her siblings. Marisa's favorite song was "Cruisin' down the street in my 6-4" by Eazy-E. She enjoyed singing this with her father. In adulthood, her father taught her many things that included skills like tire rotation and painting. Marisa was a free spirit with a heart of gold. Her humor and high spirits could keep those around her smiling, even through the worst of times. In 2018, after her friend passed away, she promised to take care of her friend's son, "Emillion," who is only two years old.

Marisa is preceded in death by her father, Francisco Arvizu.

Marisa is survived by her mother, Martha H. Almaraz; and siblings, John Adrian Arvizu, Rudy Arvizu, Jesus Arvizu, Maria Guadalupe Arvizu, and Miguel Angel Arvizu.
