Luis Salazar

Luis Salazar, 61, passed away April 30, 2022 at his home. 

Funeral: 3:30 p.m. Saturday at Fort Worth Funerals and Cremations Chapel. Visitation: Noon to 3:30 p.m. 

Luis was born  November 25, 1960 in Rotan, Texas. He worked as a mechanic for over 30 years in the Pipeline Industry. He was a jokester with a gentle soul and even bigger heart, willing to give his all to help anyone. He enjoyed cooking, baking, and working in his yard. One of his big loves was seeing his roses bloom.

He is and will forever be missed by all who had the privilege to know him. Through the pain and grief we will cherish our memories until we see each other again.

Luis was preceded in death by his wife, of 34 years, Minnie Gasca Salazar; father, Sesario Salazar; mother, Rosa Castaneda Salazar; brother, Tino Salazar and sister-in-law, D’lana Salazar.

He is survived by his brother, Sesario Salazar, Jr. and Fiancee, Rhonda Smith; sisters, Maria Ana Ramirez and Fiance, Ruben Mendez, Marcela Ramirez and Gene Ramirez, and Lisa S. Nash; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and family.
