In loving memory of Luis Martinez who passed on September 27, 2026, in Fort Worth, TX. Throughout his final years he faced Alzheimer’s and other health challenges with immense strength and dignity.
Luis was born in Pharr, TX where he met Juana, his beloved wife of 41 years. They later relocated to Ontario, OR, where they wed and welcomed their daughter, Yvette. Luis lived his life for his family, proving himself to be a deeply devoted husband and father every single day.
He cherished and loved his family deeply. A hard-working man, Luis found great joy in music and was rarely happier than when he was playing his guitar. He always ensured his family was protected and cared for. Luis possessed a big, warm smile that could effortlessly light up a room. He was a kind, caring, supportive father, and a steady presence to everyone around him. He loved his family fiercely and was always there for them.
Luis is survived by his daughter Yvette Martinez; sister, Olivia; and other relatives, along with caring friends.
Please join us in celebrating the life of Luis Martinez on Saturday, October 3rd, 2026. Viewing will be held from 5pm-7pm at Fort Worth Funerals & Cremations, Fort Worth, TX. There will be a Funeral Mass at All Saints Catholic Church in Fort Worth, TX at 10am on Monday October 5th, 2026.
