Lucinda "Lucy" Berzoza

Lucinda (Lucy) Berzoza, 72, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 2, 2022 at her home in Fort Worth, Texas surrounded by her loved ones. 

Viewing: Friday, July 8, 2022 at 5 p.m.- 8 p.m. at the Fort Worth Funerals & Cremations Chapel on 8808 Camp Bowie W Blvd. Ste. 170, Fort Worth, Texas 76116. 

Lucy was born February 26, 1950, in Julimes, Chihuahua, Mexico to Pilar Berzoza and Guadalupe Garcia. She was the 7th of 9 children. Lucy met the love of her life, Antonio, in 1973 and loved him fiercely for more than 49 years. Lucy and Antonio married in 2014. She enjoyed the outdoors, music, gardening, cooking, and spending time with her family. She found absolute joy in her final years, watching her grandchildren and great-grandchildren grow. 

Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Antonio Hernandez of Fort Worth, Texas; daughter, Virginia Alvarado and son-in-law, Francisco, daughter, Sara Lira and son-in-law, Martin; son, Tony Berzoza and daughter-in-law, Claudia, son, Edgar Berzoza; grandchildren, Jorge, Cecilia, Claudia, Lily, Marcos, Diana, John, Erica, Katherine, Armando, Aaron and Adrian; sisters, Ana Berzoza and Severiana Palacios.

She was preceded in death by her parents Pilar Berzoza and Guadalupe Garcia; sisters, Guadalupe, Nieves, and Irma; brothers, Marcos, Isidro, and Juan Manuel. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, sister, and grandmother. We will miss her tender, witty, loving, and compassionate spirit. However, she will remain in our hearts and memories forever.
