Taken too soon.
Logan Thomas Cantrell, 18, of Benbrook, Texas was tragically taken from us on July 21, 2025, in a senseless act of violence in Fort Worth, Texas.
Logan was born on October 15, 2006, to Jessica Cantrell. He was raised in Haltom City and in Weatherford, where he grew into a young man known for his big heart, sweet spirit, and infectious energy. Logan was the kind of person who could light up a room with just his smile. He was outgoing and funny, yet shy at times. He had a way of making everyone around him feel included, seen, and loved. He always put others before himself and made it his mission to make people laugh and feel happy, no matter what he was going through.
Logan was a devoted son, a loving brother, a caring nephew, and a loyal friend. Logan played a big role in helping raise and care for his younger siblings. He never once hesitated to lend a hand to help anyone, whether he knew you or not. His warmth and kindness were felt deeply by all who knew him, and his absence leaves a void that will never be filled.
Logan is survived by his mother, Jessica Cantrell; meme, Tammy Cantrell; father, Bobby Porto; grandpa, Randy Cantrell; siblings, Gabriel Porto, Angelica Cantrell, Isabella Porto; aunts, Michele Smith and Crystal Cantrell Ramirez; uncle, Shane Ratliff; cousins, Lexis Gamez, Gage Smith, Cole Smith, Vanessa Hernandez, Mya Hernandez, Olivia Ramirez, and Ruby Leyva; and so many more family and countless friends. We will forever carry his memory in our hearts.
Logan touched more lives than he ever knew. He will be remembered for his laughter, his selflessness, his big hugs, and the way he always tried to make the world a little brighter for everyone else. Logan will be deeply deeply missed and never ever forgotten.
We love you so much!
