Lee Hoke Jr. Obituary

It is with profound sadness that the family of Lee Hoke announces his peaceful passing on Easter Sunday, surrounded by his immediate family. When Jesus arose from the tomb, he came by to take Lee with him to heaven. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends, as Lee was a gentle and kind man to all that knew him.

He was born in Galveston, Texas on March 3, 1951 to Lee and Alice Hoke Sr.

Lee, selflessly, left his home to join the Army, where he was stationed in Vietnam for almost 2 years. He never forgot his time there or how he was treated upon returning to the States. He fought a valiant war in the army and again, with cancer.

He leaves behind his wife Barbara; Sons, Lee and Joey; daughters, Tanya, Shannon, and Alisha; Mom, Alice; Brother, Tom; sister, Dianne, and adorable grandchildren.

Lee will be interned at his final resting place, with full Military Honors, in the Houston National Cemetery at a date TBD. Any flowers are asked to be in American flag colors of Red, White and/or Blue to commemorate his life.
