Laura Beth Goodwin

Laura Beth Goodwin, 62, passed away on April 3, 2026. Laura was born on June 11, 1963, and was known for her compassion, creativity, and love for others.

She spent many years serving her community as a paramedic, a role that reflected her caring and selfless nature. Laura found joy in arts and crafts, especially creating shadow boxes and miniature figures. She also enjoyed watching westerns and singing—most notably in her church choir.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Stephen; and her niece, Melanie.

She is survived by her son, Nick; her daughter-in-law, Shelbie; her grandson, Malcolm; and her siblings, D’anne, Kathy, Glenn, and Carl.

A service to celebrate her life will be held on May 30, 2026. Doors will open at 12:00 PM, with the service beginning at 1:30 PM and concluding at 3:00 PM. A reception will follow at 4:30 PM at the Lanoie residence in Grand Prairie.

Laura will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
