Latanya "Tot" Biagas-Marshall entered eternal rest on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at the age of 54. Affectionately known as Tot, she was born on December 19, 1970, to Edwin and Sylvia Biagas.
Latanya attended George Washington Carver Senior High School and earned her GED at Job Corps in New Orleans, Louisiana, in 1992. Tot lived for many years in New Orleans and Slidell, Louisiana, and later spent 20 years in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. She worked for many years at Home Depot and also spent six years as a cook at Daiquiri Depot and Staybridge Suites. Cooking was a passion of hers, she loved preparing meals and enjoyed seeing others delight in her food. A devoted lover of food and music, she had a heart dedicated to serving others.
She is lovingly remembered by her husband, Adam Marshall; her sons, Landon and Lathon Marshall; and her only daughter, Keiondra Marshall. She also leaves behind grandsons, Rashad, Liam, Lijah, and Lance Marshall, as well as granddaughters, Lori Marshall and Tymperence Morris; her mother-in-law, Emily Marshall; godmother, Sharon Paul also survive her; and goddaughter, Sydne Robillia. Tot’s warmth and love touched many, and she was like a second mother to numerous people. She is also survived by many cherished sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, along with her loving aunt, Karen Biagas and several other aunts and uncles.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edwin and Sylvia Biagas; grandparents, Arthur and Gloria Biagas and Howard and Veronica George; her son, Rashad Marshall; grandkids, Shy, Raleigh, and Bradley Marshall; brothers, Edwin and Toriano Biagas; sister, Deljuana Biagas; godfather, Kenneth Morris; father-in-law, Everett Marshall and lifelong friends, Juvonda Johnson and Terrylyn Jones.
A celebration of her life will be held on October 11th.
