Beloved Son, Father, Husband, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle, Friend
Larry received his education in the Tyler Independent School District and later trained as a mechanic and landscaper. A lover of movies and music, one of his favorite songs was “A Simple Man.” The lyrics perfectly convey his character and heart. He truly enjoyed the simple things of life-fishing, cooking, working on cars, working in the yard, singing karaoke, watching movies, hanging with his family and friends. He was a master storyteller and comedian. Very creative, he was also adept in drawing pictures, leathercrafting, and sewing. He was known as “Mr. Fix-it” by many of his friends, as he could be counted on to try to repair anything that was broken. During his later years, he spent as much time as he could with his beloved partner Tracy Bell and her grandchildren.
Left to forever cherish his memories are his daughter, Chenitha Elliott of Tyler, TX; his brothers, Willie James Bell of Tyler, Texas, Carl Anthony Ashley of Fort Worth TX, Kenneth Ray Ashley of Fort Worth TX, Kennith Ray Ingram of Pomona CA, Abe Ivory Ingram, Jr, Pomona CA, Carl Ingram of Pomona, CA, Houdini Ingram of Pomona CA, and Googie Ingram of Tyler, TX, Marc Ingram of Pomona, CA; his sisters, Anne Ashley of Fort Worth, TX, Chenitha Ashley Ervin of Fort Worth, TX, Cynthia Elaine Ashley, of Arlington, TX, Iranell Ingram Booker of Pomona CA; his aunts, Nannie Earl Ingram Hoil (Rufus), Tyler, TX and Paula Taylor (Thomas), Tyler, TX.
