Krista Otts died early in the morning of September 1st at the age of 53. She was the daughter of Roy J. and Linda L. Otts, and like them, lived in the Dallas-Fort Worth area all her life.
Services have been postponed to a later date.
Krista worked for Hanson Pipe and Precast for years before becoming her mother's full-time caregiver until her death from cancer in 2010. She was a big fan of pro-wrestling, and in her spare time, enjoyed cooking, sewing costumes, and attending Native American pow-wows. Krista took several road trips out west, driving up the Pacific Coast Highway from California to Seattle to visit her sister. All those who knew her appreciated her quirky sense of humor, love of all animals (especially cats, bears and monkeys), and her sometimes overly-generous heart.
Krista was preceded in death by her parents; and is survived by her sister, Sherri Haynie of Silver City, New Mexico; cousin, Ricky Davidson and family of Arlington, TX; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened.
