Kevin Andrew Olsen

Kevin Olsen, born December 6, 1965, in El Paso, Texas, passed away peacefully on September 22, 2024, in Dallas, Texas, at the age of 58. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Joy Olsen, and six children: Amanda Ogel, Cathy Olsen, Jonathan Williams, Joshua Williams, Lora Williams, and Nathan Williams. Kevin was preceded in death by his father, Ralph Olsen, and his mother, Mary Ellen Lockhart.

Kevin proudly served his country in the United States Air Force while studying to become an Electrical and High Voltage Technician Power Lineman He later built a successful career as a Project Manager for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, the U.S. Navy, and the General Services Administration (GSA). His dedication to his work and his passion for serving the nation were evident in all he did.

A loving husband, father, and grandfather, Kevin was known for being a great provider and a deeply committed family man. He had a gift for cooking and took joy in preparing delicious meals for his family. His creativity extended to baking, and he was especially talented at crafting beautiful wedding cakes.

Kevin’s memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved him. His legacy of love, service, and dedication to his family and community will not be forgotten.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 26th, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Fort Worth Funerals & Crematory, located at 8808 Camp Bowie W Blvd Ste. 170, Fort Worth, TX 76116.
