Kenneth Clark Obituary

June 27, 2021, Kenneth Lee Clark passed away peacefully in the loving presence of his wife, his daughter, and his mother in Fort Worth, Texas.

Kenneth was born October 2, 1972 in Denton, Texas. He grew up in Grapevine and attended Edward C. Marcus High School in Flower Mound. He worked for the City of Fort Worth Water Department, spending much of his career as a truck driver in the metroplex. He took great joy in volunteering at the Community Food Bank and took every opportunity to take part in any charity motorcycle rides benefitting local DFW children. Ken lived every second of his life to the fullest and with such passion. He worked hard so he could play harder. He would ride his Harley Davidson, “Hollywood,” with his ride or die, Barbi, and in that found love, freedom, and adventure. Ken's love of music and the songs that quenched his soul would often leave him with goosebumps as the music filled his senses and the lyrics filled his heart. From fast cars to being a grill master, from watches to guns, to the next adventure around every new turn, Ken lived life with the throttle wide open, the wind at his back, and excitement in his deep blue eyes. He shared the love of sushi with his daughter and "butterfly," Annie, and the ability to find humor in anything with his son, Corey. There were two that held his heart tightly, his sweet dog Doodle who claimed him as her human, and the Belle to his Beast, his wife, Barbi, who "pinkie-to-pinkie" together achieved the “Tale as Old as Time.” With the smile and shine in his eyes, he takes these loves and all his passions with him onto his greatest journey where he's undoubtedly preparing a place for those he's left behind.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara “Barbi” Clark of Haltom City, TX; daughter, Annie Clark of Grand Prairie, TX; son, Corey Roberts of Portland, Oregon; grandson, Spencer Ian Thomas of Portland, Oregon; mother, Beverly and John Hill of Hurst, TX; father, David Lee and Lyda Clark of The Colony, TX; sisters, Kimberly Clark of Bedford, TX, Maria Torres of El Paso, TX, and Denesha Hill of Hurst, TX; brothers, John Hill Jr. of Dallas, TX, Mark Hill of Indiana, EJ Hill of Fort Worth, TX and DeQualon Hill of Hurst, TX; and loved by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Please join us in a celebration of life and love for "Ken & Barbi" on Saturday, July 10th at High Noon (12 p.m.) at his home, 5701 Saddleback Cir., Haltom City Texas. Please park at North Park (5220 Denton Highway, Haltom City) and follow the balloons up the hill to the backyard gate. As you see, Ken had many heartfelt passions, hobbies, and interests. Feel free to honor him in any of those meaningful ways.
