Kendall Clevenger, age 38, of Azle, Texas, went to be with the Lord on January 15, 2026.
Kendall was born on February 17, 1987, in Lubbock, Texas, to Tonya Bowe and Craig Clevenger. He honorably served in the United States Marine Corps, attaining the rank of Lance Corporal. Kendall was assigned to the 6th Motor Transport Battalion, 4th Marine Logistics Group, and deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
During his service, Kendall was awarded the Armed Forces Reserve Medal, Global War on Terrorism Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Navy Unit Commendation, Sea Service Deployment Ribbon, Selected Marine Corps Reserve Medal, and the Expert Rifle Badge.
Kendall was known for his strength, intelligence, and sharp sense of humor. He had a natural ability to lift the spirits of those around him and was steadfast in his love for family and friends. His presence left a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of knowing him.
He is survived by his parents, his stepfather, Shawn Bowe; his stepsiblings, Nick Bowe, Courtney Ware, Dillon Bowe, and Madison Sutherland and their spouses; grandmothers, Barbara Rogers (Nana) and Lucy Clevenger; step grandparents, Doris Young, Gary and Judy Bowe; many aunts & uncles that he cherished along with a band of cousins, nieces, and nephews who loved him dearly.
He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Dempsey Biles; his stepsister, Chasity Killian; and his grandfather, affectionately known as “Dad Bill.”
A memorial service will be held at a later date in Lubbock, Texas.
