Katherine M. Lowery

Katherine M. Lowery passed away April 12, 2023 at Harris Methodist Hospital in Texas, after a short battle with cancer.

Kathy was born in Norwalk, California on February 26, 1964. She moved a lot throughout her childhood, before settling in the Chicagoland area for her high school years. Kathy graduated high school, and went on to college for business management, before she had her first child. Kathy loved being outdoors.  She loved to go hiking at natural park areas, and loved crafts, too.  Puzzles and miniatures were among her favorite. She was a big fan of Stephen King novels and short stories. She liked to watch true crime shows and was always up for watching a good horror flick, and never went anywhere without her rings on. She was a kind-hearted person who would give anything to help a friend, and will be dearly missed.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Mary Cherco; her sister, Theresa Panicucci; and son, William "Billy" Bopp.

She is survived by one brother, James Cherco; four daughters, Ashley Pratt, Michelle Pratt, Kristina Mitchell, and Rebecca Bajorek; long time friend, Nancy Abraham; many nieces, nephews and cousins, as well as her beloved cats, Tiny, Sam, and Fred.
