Justin Brit Swift

On Wednesday, August 17, 2022 Justin Brit Swift passed away peacefully at the age of 41.

Justin was born on June 29, 1981 in Fort Worth, Texas to Brit and Tina Swift. Justin was a kind, loving person with a quick wit. He made everyone laugh with his funny tales and quotes from favorite movies. Justin also loved old country music and had a wonderful voice that you might hear if you could catch him singing along to a song. Justins favorite place was his family ranch where he made so many special memories with family and friends.

Justin was preceded in death by his great-grandmother, Oma Swift (Mamaw), and grandfather, Gordon Swift (Papaw).

He is survived by his son, Randall James Swift; father, Brit Swift and wife, Karen; mother, Tina Horton and husband, Ronnie Payne; sister, Terri and husband, James and daughter, Lillian Griffin; sister, Morgan Bauman and children, Danny, Raylyn, Jett and Johslynn; grandmothers, Patricia Swift and Carol Krist along with many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Some years back Justin had told his best friend/sister Morgan this, “The two most important days in your life are the day you are born and the day you figure out why...” After Justins passing we found out he was an organ donor, which we are very proud of. He was able to give both of his kidneys to two young men that we hope are able to continue a long, happy, fulfilled life, thanks to Justin’s gift.
