Juana, who often went by “Juanita,” was born in San Luis Potosi, Mexico. She met Luis, her husband of 41 years, in Texas. After courting, they then moved to Ontario, Oregon. On November 24, 1979, they wed. In March of 1988, she gave birth to their only child, a daughter named Yvette. Juanita was a loving wife, homemaker, and a caregiver. She was involved in the Catholic community at Blessed Sacrament Parish in Ontario, OR. Her faith was always an important aspect to her. Juana was such a selfless person who always lent a helping hand to anyone. She was a bright, charismatic soul, compassionate, kind, and gentle. There are not enough words to describe the type of person she was, but upon meeting her she would most definitely always leave an imprint on your heart.
Juanita is survived by her husband, Luis Martinez; daughter, Yvette Martinez; sisters, Florencia & Ana; other family members and many caring friends and neighbors.
