Jo Noah Obituary

Jo Ann Noah, 83, passed away July 3, 2020 in Granbury, Texas.

Services will held on Monday, July 13, 2020 at 11:15 AM at Fort Worth Funerals & Cremations, 8808 Camp Bowie West, Fort Worth, Texas, 76116.

Jo Ann was born September 20, 1936 to Clyde and Alice Phillips of Inverness, Mississippi. Jo Ann was a beautiful person who loved freely, whether you are family or friend and she would open her heart and home to you. She believed very much in forgiveness, believing that everyone can be worthy of forgiveness and was a woman of strong faith, putting her love for God at  the forefront of her life. Her faith and hope is a quality that so many admire about her, spreading His word and love to so many people. Jo Ann was devoted to her family almost as much as her faith. You always knew she was there and that she loved you. She was not only a wife, mother, grandmother but also a great-grandmother and a great-great-grandmother; showering each one with her own special love and devotion. It was truly a feeling that no one could describe. Jo Ann was a funny lady who enjoyed a good practical joke or just a silly one that you heard on the radio and had to share with her. She would always laugh, even if it was so silly she could not believe you said it! Playing with the kids and babies was one of her greatest joys, as was watching them grow and learn. Jo Ann loved to read any and all books with no real preference. Music was a joy to her as well; she enjoyed legends like George, Allan, Old Hank Sr, and Crystal Gale. She would always tell you though that the prettiest music in the world is the sound of her grandchildren. Granma will be greatly missed but she will never be forgotten by the family that will carry her legacy on....Ray, Michael, Erica, Katie, Tyler, Stephanie, Courtney, Rex, Chelsea, Charles, Natalie and TJ - We love you Granma.

Jo Ann is preceded in death by her husband, James Noah Sr.; sons, William Noah and James Noah Jr.; daughter in law, Tina Noah and great-granddaughter, Vidalia R. Noah.
