Jo Ann (Parnell) Muir

Jo Ann was born November 10, 1929 In Lubbock, Texas and passed February 3, 2024 at home in Aledo, Texas.

She graduated from the Weatherford Business College. She was married to Robert J Muir in 1952, who preceded her in death. They were happily married for 38 years, best friends and soul mates.

She is survived by two children, Patricia Muir Bullard and son-in-law, Glen Bullard, Robert “Bob” Muir and daughter-in-law, Jennifer Muir; grandchildren, Sam Muir and wife, Emily, Bill Muir, Becky Muir and partner, John; great grand-daughter, Penelope Muir; bonus grandchildren, Tyler Bullard, Megan Grant and Steven Travis. 

Special appreciation to Rebecca & Ronnie Burns, owners of Promises Kept, for taking such good care of Jo Ann for the past 7 years at her home.  She loved the home that her husband, Bob, built in the 1970’s.

A Memorial Service celebrating Jo Ann’s life will be held at the Parker County Cowboy Church, 5050 FM 5, Aledo, Texas on February 24, 2024 at 1:30 pm. Louis Sneed will be officiating.
