Jesus R. Chavez entered rest on Thursday, February 10, 2022.

Jesus was born February 12, 1958 in La Puerta, Texas. He was a loving and committed family man. Jesus was known for enjoying time with his family and making them laugh. He enjoyed listening to Tejano music and cooking out. He was always there when someone needed help. It was a blessing to be part of his life and he will be dearly missed.

Love you Dad, Love you Grandpa.

Jesus was preceded in death by his parents, Jesus and Socorro Chavez and brother, Martin Roberto Chavez.

He is survived by his children, Angie, Jesse, and Issa; sisters, Marylou Garza (Lucy) and Natalia Pena; grandchildren, Anthony, Deanna, Marissa, Jonathan, Julian, Michael, Matthew and Lauren; mother of his children, Maricela Garza, married 42 years.

Visitation: 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, February 25, 2022 at Fort Worth Funerals & Cremations Chapel, 8808 Camp Bowie W., Ste. 170, Fort Worth, Texas 76116.
