Clyde Jeffery Williams, 71, passed away on January 11, 2025, in Fort Worth, Texas.
Jeff was born on December 15, 1953, in Port Arthur, Texas as to Clyde Jefferson Williams and Zelda Bernice Williams. He was raised in Groves, Texas and was a graduate of Port Neches-Groves High School in 1972. Jeff attended Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas and graduated with a Bachelor’s in Psychology in 1976. Following his college graduation, he pursued a managerial career with Luby’s Cafeteria Inc. for over 25 years. For the past 18 years, he was working with the City of Fort Worth as a Health Inspector with the Consumer Health Division where he impacted many lives throughout Fort Worth up until his passing.
Funeral services and a Catholic Mass will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, January 20, 2025, at St. Thomas Becket Catholic Church located in Fort Worth with Rev. Jon Jenkins officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 19, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Fort Worth Funerals & Cremations Funeral Home.
He was preceded in death by his father Clyde Jefferson Williams and his mother, Zelda Williams. Survivors include his sister, Cheryl Leger of Lumberton, Texas; his brother, Casey Williams of Keller, Texas; son, Justin Lauten and wife, Libby of Lucas, Texas; daughter, Angela Padilla and husband, Daniel of San Antonio, Texas; son, Cid Williams of Los Angeles, California; and son, Cameron Joshua Williams of Fort Worth, Texas; nieces, Carrie Fischer, Dee Dee Foret, and Hannah Tucker; nephew, Michael Williams; eight grandchildren, Bryson Lauten, Todd Lauten, Caden Padilla, Emily Padilla, Emalynn Padilla, Ember Padilla, Emilio Padilla, and Emery Padilla.
