Janet Sue Echols Bigham, 73, passed away at her home in Burleson, Texas, on Sunday, November 29, 2020.
A Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, December 7, 2020, at Hallmark Baptist Church in Fort Worth with Mike Haley officiating. A graveside service will be held at noon on Tuesday, December 8, 2020, at Snyder Cemetery in Snyder, Texas.
Janet was born to Burton and Lane Echols on January 12, 1947, in Snyder, Texas. She graduated from Snyder High School. She married Ted Bigham in Snyder in 1975, and they were members of Faith Baptist Church there for almost 40 years. Janet and Ted moved to Burleson, Texas in 2013, and Ted passed away in 2015. Janet was a member of Hallmark Baptist Church in Fort Worth, Texas.
Janet’s passions in life were her faith and her family. She trusted Christ as Savior in 1975, and her faith became the most important aspect of her life. Janet loved her children and grandchildren, and her siblings, nieces, and nephews. During the past few years, her happiest times were spent with her grandchildren reading books, watching movies, playing games, and just being together.
Janet was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ted; and her siblings, Edyth Henderson and Van Echols.
Survivors include her children, Susan Taylor and husband, William of Arlington, Texas, and Jenny Copeland and husband, Adam of Palestine, Texas; grandchildren, Will, Katie, David, Caroline, and Elizabeth Taylor, and Emma Copeland; and siblings, John Echols and Mary Baber.
