Helene Hanlon Obituary

Helene Diane Hanlon passed away peacefully in her sleep on May 26, 2021.

She was a 1960 graduate of Cardinal Mooney. She enjoyed going to church, cooking, singing karaoke, and spending time with her family. She loved being with her grandchildren most of all.

She was a Youngstown resident, but her heart was in Las Vegas, where she had lived for many years.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents; her parents; two sons, Joseph V. Lester and Francis C. Lester (Edna) of White Settlement, Texas; one granddaughter, Christina; her 1st husband, Don Lee Lester; and her husband, Thomas P. Hanlon Sr.

She leaves behind four sons, Tommy Hanlon Jr. (Sarah) of Missouri, John M. Lester Sr (Tiffany) of Niles, OH, James P. Lester (Sandy) of Delaware, and Regis E. Hanlon (Sonya) of Howland, OH; one daughter, Amy L. Pritchett (James) of Canton, OH; 20 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; her sister, Jacqueline M. Phibbs (Daniel) of Hubbard, OH; three nieces; two nephews; as well as great-nieces and great-nephews.

She will be missed by many.
