Gracelyn Sue Duncan, 67, of Benbrook, Texas was born October 1, 1955, and passed from this world on June 28, 2023, at Benbrook Nursing Home.
Graveside Service will be September 30, 2023, at 12pm at Graford Cemetery in Graford, Texas.
Her urn will be buried beside her mother.
In her early years, growing up, she lived in Electra, Wichita Falls, and Graham, Texas. In 1970, her family moved to Godley, Texas and remained in the area of Cresson, Granbury, and Benbrook.
Gracelyn worked for Brown and Root, Lockheed Martin, and Real Estate.
For many years, she was a member of Calvary Cathedral Church. When the tornado hit downtown Fort Worth on March 28, 2000, she was in the prayer tower taking prayer requests. For many years after that, she was known as “Tower Lady.”
She is preceded in death by both parents, Richard T. and June Duncan; two half-sisters, Darla Johnson and Kay Carlyle; niece, Lisa Dudley; and nephew, Jason Carlyle.
Survived by two half-sisters, Atha Marie Wood and Miva Ann Simpson; brother, Jon Mark Duncan; and many nieces and nephews.
