Elizabeth Sanders

Elizabeth "Lizzy" Sanders, 57, passed away on February 6, 2025 in Fort Worth, Texas.  

Born on September 26, 1967, in Granite City, Illinois, Lizzy brought warmth and joy to those around her throughout her life. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who cherished every moment spent with her loved ones. Her presence could brighten any room, and she had a special gift for bringing smiles to those around her.  

Lizzy found immense joy in spending time with her grandchildren and embraced the opportunity to be with them almost daily. Her love for her family was unwavering, and she treasured the bonds she shared with each of them.  

She was preceded in death by her father, Fred Giffin; her brothers, Bill Childers and Tom Childers; and her sister, Cindy Miskel.  

She is survived by her loving husband, Clifford Sanders; her daughter, Lindsey Sanders; her beloved grandchildren, Aiden Sanders-Adams and Olivia Wise; her mother, Jerry Giffin; and her siblings, Jan Mahoney, Jim Childers, Tim Childers, and Becky Furtek.

Lizzy's memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. May the love she shared continue to bring comfort to those she leaves behind.
