Dorothy Dale (Deason) Varney

Dorothy "Dottie" Dale Varney peacefully passed away into the Kingdom of Heaven on October 25, 2020 in Fort Worth, Texas where she resided for 15+ years.

There will be a visitation from 11am - 12pm on Thursday, November 5, 2020 with the funeral service to follow afterwards at Fort Worth Funerals & Cremations, 8808 Camp Bowie W, Fort Worth, TX 76116. A private burial interment will be held at the DFW National Cemetery in Dallas, TX.

Dottie was a devout wife, mother, and Christian who loved and followed Jesus Christ and attended church at Pentecostals of Fort Worth. Dottie was happily married to her husband, William "Bill" Varney of 47 years and loving parents to four children; son, William "Billy"; and daughters, Rhonda, Arianne, and Maychelle "May"; and granddaughter, Caileigh Hewes. 

Broken Chain

We little knew that morning that God was going to call your name.

In life we loved you dearly, in death we do the same.

It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone;

for part of us went with you the day God called you home.

You left us peaceful memories, your love is still our guide,

and though we cannot see you, you are always by our side.

Our family chain is broken and nothing seems the same,

but as God calls us one by one, 

the chain will link again.
