Darlane Courtney Snodgrass

Benbrook, Texas - Darlane “Dee” Snodgrass, after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by loved ones, went peacefully to the Lord on March 4, 2021. She is survived by her husband, John; her two children, Dawn and David and wife, Rebecca; and three grandchildren, Tyler, Landry, and Easton.

Dee was born to Catherine and Donald Courtney in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 1951. While living in New Orleans, she met her husband, John. Together they moved to Miami, where they were married on September 8, 1973. She moved with her husband to Fort Worth, Texas in 1977, where they raised their family.

The simplest pleasures in life brought Dee great joy. She loved dancing, playing card games, gardening, and most of all spending time with loved ones. She had an uncanny ability to find happiness in her daily activities. Her loving personality was contagious to everyone she met.
