Danny Ray Elliott, born in 1949 and raised in Fort Worth, Texas, graduated from Haltom High School in 1967. He enlisted in the Marine Corps and served in the Vietnam War from February 1970 to June 1971. Upon returning, he pursued ministry, attending Trinity Valley Baptist Seminary College and earning his Bachelor's degree. He dedicated himself to full-time ministry and, in the early 1980s, founded a successful construction business, which he ran for 30 years while also ministering at several Baptist churches. After retiring, he returned to academia to obtain his master’s degree in theology. A father of five, grandfather, and great-grandfather to many, he also initiated prayer meetings and church fellowship at his senior center apartments.
His lifelong mission was soul-winning, impacting numerous lives. Danny passed away on May 23, 2024, at 74, shortly after leading a prayer meeting. Preaching until his final day, he now meets his savior face to face. Mourning his departure are his sister Rhonda; children Stephanie, Isaac, Joseph, Kyle, and Danielle; and his many descendants. His legacy endures, and he will be dearly missed. He has completed his earthly journey and is now commended by our heavenly father. We are grateful for the legacy he has left behind.
